The Oase PondoVac Classic (formerly known as the Oase PondoVac Start) is a sludge vacuum cleaner which can remove fish excrement, algae, string algae, sludge, dead vegetation and bits of leaves from the pond with the minimum disturbance to the pond dwellers and without the pungent smell of ammonia.
The Pondovac Classic can also be used as a household vacuum or wet & dry vac and is supplied with dry vacuum dust bag and accessories.

- The Oase PondoVac Classic includes Intelligent technology which recognizes when the tank is full and turns the motor off automatically – switching on again when the container has emptied.
- The Oase PondoVac Classic has a 27 litre sludge container.
- Supplied with 4 suction nozzles: crevice nozzle, algae nozzle, flat nozzle with rubber lip, variable special sludge nozzle (2-10mm). Please visit the Technical Page for more details.
- The PondoVac Classic is supplied with sludge strainer bag, which collects smaller debris whilst allowing water to return to the pond. Note; we suggest an initial vacuum of the pond to remove very fine silt before using the sludge bag to return the water to the pond (as fine silt may escape through the sludge bag pores and temporarily cloud up the pond water).
- Can remove dirt particles up to 3/8" (10mm) in diameter, such as algae, silt, dead plants and decomposed leaves.
