Underground Water Feature Reservoirs

Are you planning a free-standing water feature or fountain display in your garden? Our underground pebble pools and architectural reservoirs will accommodate a wide range of Copper and Stainless Steel  Water Features, Fountains, or Fountain Pumps with Nozzles.

Tip 1: Be sure the reservoir will hold sufficient water to A. keep the submersible pump totally covered with water at all times and B. allow for water losses due to evaporation, wind and splashing.

Tip 2:  Do you think you need a larger reservoir?  Why not use one of our flexible Liners & Underlay to extend the reservoir water catchment area instead?  By simply cutting a 'ring' or 'square' of liner and sloping this towards the centre of the reservoir, any water outside of the catchment area will make its way towards the reservoir.  The liner can easily be disguised by covering with pebbles etc, as with the reservoir grid. 

This simple yet effective trick will keep costs to a minimum (no need for very large or bespoke reservoirs and specialist safety grids) and will prevent your underground reservoir from running dry, due to water loss outside of the Reservoir catchment area.  Please feel free to call or email us, for more assistance and suggestions.

Architectural Reservoirs

Our water reservoirs are made from robust black polyethylene and designed for below ground installation.  All of our Architectural Reservoirs come complete with Support Grid & Pump Hatch and will comfortably support weight of 150 kgs. Heavier features can be supported with the use of blocks or with a Witches Hat (for Corner Reservoirs only) as additional support. Large water capacity make these reservoirs ideal for Water Features or Fountain Pump displays that require a high volume of water, and the flat surface offers easy levelling and stable installation.

Finia Water Feature Reservoirs

The Finia range of heavy duty water feature reservoirs are made from 100% recycled MDPE plastic. They all come as 3 piece units comprising base reservoir, lid and separate pump hatch. The unique design achieves high weight bearing capacity with relatively high water volumes. To assist with levelling and to acheive a stable installation we recommend using the Finia Adaptor Kit

Pebble Pools

Ideal for small Fountain Pumps such as the Aquarius fountain pump.  Why not consider a remote control pump such as the P4000, which will allow flow and on/off control at the touch of a button?  Fountain nozzles, such as the Schaumsprudler 22-5K will produce a foaming jet of water.  This is simply screwed directly to the pump.  Take a look at our pebble pool inspirations page for more ideas and details.
