2.6kg in 20 x 20 x 12 cm basket. Zeolite based natural product is a high performance, proven filter material thanks to its crystalline surface , which is a 1000 times greater than sand. The large surface area promotes settlement of micro-organisms and hence the breakdown of toxic ammonia that occurs through fish waste and unconsumed food. It also withdraws the nutrient base for green algae and thus prevents turbidity. Effective for 125 days after first use, can be recharged with pond salt rinse. Sufficient for 2600 litre pond without fish, 1300 litre goldfish pond, 650 litres Koi pond. |

Phosless is a natural product which reduces algae growth by binding excess phosphates. Twin tube set fits Biotec 18 and 36 filters , the Proficlear Phosphate Binder Module or can be placed directly in moving water (i.e. filter or watercourse outflow).Supplied as a combination pack including one Phosless CA media tube and one Phosless FS media tube.Phosless CA is a white, porous calcium mineral for binding phosphates and heavy metals (such as copper and lead).Phosless FS is a brown, grainy iron mineral which effectively binds phosphates and sulphide.Particularly useful during warm or summer months. Active for up to 60 days. The bound phosphate can be disposed of as a fertiliser additive to potting soil if desired. |
