The 2” BSPM Hosetail features a 50mm (2”) diameter straight hosetail, and a 2” BSP male thread.

Suitable for connection to 2" BSP Female threads and 2"/50mm Internal Diameter Hose Pipes.

Hosetails with BSP male threads can be used to provide hose connections to appliances with BSP female threads, such as some pond pumps and filters. BSP male threaded hosetails can also be used to connect flexible hose pipe to other BSP female threaded pipe fittings such as Brass Check Valves,  Union Threaded Ball Valves,  Tees,  Bends and  Tin Can Strainers.  It is recommended that PTFE Tape is applied to the thread whenever a male threaded fitting is being used. This will ensure an airtight and watertight seal around the threaded connection. The barbed hosetail provides a tight fit for flexible hose pipe, and a Stainless Steel Hose Clip can be used to clamp the hose tightly to the hosetail.

2” BSP Male threads measure approximately 59.5mm (2.35”) across the outer diameter.
