The new 2-Stream High Power Ultraviolet Clarifiers from Velda guarantee you crystal clear pond water and a healthy pond environment for both fish and water plants. The ultraviolet radiation of the high power T6 UV-C lamp will effectively kill floating algae and, at optimum flow rates, circa 99% of pathogens. Owing to the special and patented construction of the casing, the water will flow inside the unit twice along the high frequency and very effective T6 UV-C lamp. As a result of this extra contact time the effective activity per wattage and per litre will be nearly doubled.

The Oase range of Bitron UV Clarifiers utilizes the finest UVC technology to eliminate algae and reduce pathogens in garden ponds. The easily adjustable bypass system controls the flow over the UV light and achieves optimum clarification. The innovative Oase automated cleaning system is activated by water flow around the quartz tube and prevents sludge and slime from settling and thereby ensures maximum UV radiation. The Bitron 18C model, and above, include permanent magnets to prevent calcium deposits (scale) from forming, thereby improving functionality. All Oase Bitron Ultraviolet Clarifiers are designed to fit directly onto Oase Biotec and Proficlear filters. Oase recommend that UV lights be replaced after 10000 operating hours to ensure full strength radiation of the UV rays.
