BIOTEC SCREENMATIC Foams and Spares
OASE Germany released the BioTec ScreenEx filter back in 2003 to cater for larger ponds and featured a static screen for capturing larger debris. OASE subsequently released the BioTec ScreenMatic in 2006 which had all the features of the ScreenEx filter but with a timed screen drive mechanism to index the waste into a collection hopper. This highly successful filter was upgraded again in 2016 to the brand new BioTec ScreenMatic² which featured a fully automated screen drive with waste detection sensor and a host of new improvements. The ScreenDrive Motor has been designed to fit both old and new filters, however; an improvement to the drive end changed from a ‘star’ shaped end to the new, more robust ‘slot’ shaped end. Therefore, check your drive motor end before purchasing the motor. If your motor end is star-shaped, the full ScreenDrive and Motor Assembly will be required to upgrade the old filter version.
