Low Voltage Pond Pumps can be used in areas where human access is required in the water, such as swimming pools and municipal pools and ponds. The pump itself is 12 Volts which is deemed a safe working voltage and this voltage is then stepped up to 230V AC via the supplied mains transformer which is mounted remotely and externally from the water body.
Many of our low voltage pumps can be used either fully submersed or dry mounted (in a flooded suction scenario) offering excellent installation flexibility. The larger OASE AquaMax Eco Expert 12V & OASE Aquarius Eco Expert 12V pump cables can be further extended on the low voltage side via an optional extension cable.
