Fish Health and Pond Disease Treatments

Water Garden supply a range of medication-based disease treatments for ornamental fish. These fish disease treatments will combat a wide range of fish diseases from bacterial and fungal infections, to parasitic infestation. The Oase AquaMed range has been designed for direct pond water application, so as to minimise stress on your fish.
Alongside these treatments, Water Garden also supply a range products to prevent and deter pond predators such as herons and cats from killing or injuring your pond fish.

Guidelines for use: We recommend that you switch off your Ultraviolet clarifier, and stop feeding your fish during any periods of fish disease treatment, and when treating Bacterial / Fungal infection, feeding should only begin at least a week after the last treatment, and food should be introduced little-by-little, gradually increasing to regular feeding over a period of around 4 weeks.
Please note that the root cause of many fish health problems is poor pond water quality, and pathogens and parasites thrive in these conditions as fish are stressed, and therefore vulnerable to infection. We recommend that if you are experiencing fish health issues, that you perform tests on the pond water parameters using one of our Water Test Kits before administering any fish disease treatment, to establish whether poor water quality may be the fundamental problem. |

• Universal pond fish medication for unclear diagnosis, mixed infections or for pre-treatment.
• Effective against bacteria, protozoa and fungal infections.
• Occuring symptoms in pond fish can be whitish to yellowish, slimy or cotton-wadding like coverings, ulcers, wounds, inflammation, blood spots, loss of skin or scales, fin rot, grey skin disease, white mouth, lurching, and flashing/rubbing movements.

• AquaMed AntiWorm is a medication for ornamental pond fish ideal for parasitic worm or fish lice infestation.
• Helps for fish lice (Argulus), anchor worms (Lernaea), skin worms (Gyrodactylus), gill worms (Dactylogyrus), tape worms (Cestoden).
• One treatment will usually suffice for most infestation, for gill worm infestation treatment must be repeated approximately 1 week after initial treatment.
