Mooring or anchoring of the aerating fountain can be done using the supplied 15 metre heavy duty tethering ropes. Models 1/2HP, 3/4HP and 1HP are supplied with 2 ropes attached the the float and should be secured from 2 positions. The more powerful 3HP model is supplied with 3 tethering ropes and should be fixed from 3 positions. The fountain can be tethered either by mooring from the bank side, or anchoring using suitable ballast such as concrete slabs (not supplied). The power cable should fall vertically to the pond floor and kept slack.
