The 2” BSP Elbow / Hosetail features a 50mm (2”) diameter 90 degree angled hosetail, and a 2” BSP female threaded union screw up connector.

Suitable for connection to 2" BSP Male threads and 2"/50mm Internal Diameter Hose Pipes.

Elbow Hosetails feature a moveable BSP female threaded union which enables the angle of the hosetail to be rotated and fixed in the required position when the union is tightened. There is a flat rubber gasket which sits inside the union to ensure a watertight seal when screwed up tight. Threaded union connections also make it very easy to remove the hose pipe from a pond pump, UVC or pond filter, as the union can be unscrewed from the unit, allowing the whole fitting to be removed, rather than having to remove the hose pipe from the hosetail, which is usually tightly clamped on with a Stainless Steel Hose Clip.

Elbow Hosetails with threaded unions are useful if a 90 degree turn is required into or out of a pond pump, pond filter or UV clarifier. These fittings can be screwed directly to the inlet or outlet to create an immediate bend if space restrictions will not allow for a straight hose pipe connection.

2” BSP Female threads measure approximately 56.5mm (2.23”) across the inner diameter.
