Blue Lagoon Copper Electrolyzer

The Blue Lagoon Copper Electrolyzer disinfects the water in swimming ponds or pools through copper electrolysis. For best results, we recommend pairing the Blue Lagoon Copper Electrolyzer with a conventional ultraviolet clarifier (UV-C) to ensure clear water free of suspended algae and string algae. Copper levels of between 0.4 - 0.7ppm are required along with a stablilised neutral Ph level, this can be tested with the supplied test strips.

The Blue Lagoon Copper Electrolyzer utilises a copper anode within the unit which will discharge positively charged copper ions into the water, which will destroy the cell walls of algae, bacteria, viruses and other micro-organisms. As these micro-organisms are damaged by the copper, they will no longer be able to take up nutrients and will therefore be unable to multiply.
