Filter Zeolite - 5kg treats 5000 Litres

Zeolite binds Nitrates and Phosphates. It is a high performance natural product, a proven filter material thanks to its crystalline surface, which is a 1000 times greater than sand. This large surface area promotes settlement of micro-organisms and hence the breakdown of toxic ammonia that occurs through fish waste and unconsumed food. It also withdraws the nutrient base for green algae and thus prevents turbidity.

• Can be used in filters and moving pond water, 35 x 40cm fine mesh filter bag supplied.
• Sufficient for 5000 litre pond without fish, 2500 litre goldfish pond, 1250 litres Koi pond.
• Effective for 3 - 4 months; change or recharge (using Pond Guardian Tonic Salt or Dishwasher Salt) mid season for optimum pond water quality.
