Description
The air that is pumped into the diffuser assemblies will form masses of small bubbles which will gradually diffuse oxygen into the water as they rise to the surface, creating an oxygen-rich environment that will fortify the beneficial aerobic bacteria and circulate the water, reducing stagnant water and reducing algae growth. The rising bubbles will also help to prevent temperature layering (thermal stratification).
The 3000M Lake Diffuser System consists of:
- 1 x AP30000 Pond Aeration Pump
- 1 x 4 Way Brass Valved Manifold Kit
- 4 x 30m Lengths of 1/2" ID Weighted Airline
- 4 x 1/2" to 8mm Hose Joiners
- 4 x 8mm ID Stub (25cm) Hoses
- 4 x Self-sinking Diffuser Assemblies (require sand or ballast - not supplied)
*The included 30m lengths of weighted airline can be extended if needed using extra lengths of 30m Weighted Airline and 1/2" hose connectors.
We recommend using ByoFix Lake Bacteria - 1Kg alongside an aerator to improve water quality by increasing and maintaining beneficial aerobic bacteria levels.
