Description
The air that is pumped into the diffuser assemblies will form masses of small bubbles which will gradually diffuse oxygen into the water as they rise to the surface, creating an oxygen-rich environment that will fortify the beneficial aerobic bacteria and circulate the water, reducing stagnant water and reducing algae growth. The rising bubbles will also help to prevent temperature layering (thermal stratification).
The 2000M Lake Diffuser System consists of:
- 1 x AP18000 Pond Aeration Pump
- 1 x 4 Way Brass Valved Manifold Assembly
- 4 x 30m Lengths of 1/2" ID Weighted Airline
- 8mm to ½” Hose Adaptors and 8mm Weighted Stub Hoses
- 4 x Self-sinking High Volume Air Diffuser Assemblies
Note: Diffusers require filling with a suitable ballast i.e. sand / stones / shingle (not supplied).
*The included 30m lengths of weighted airline can be extended if needed using extra lengths of 30m Weighted Airline and 1/2" hose connectors.
We recommend using ByoFix Lake Bacteria - 1Kg alongside an aerator to improve water quality by increasing and maintaining beneficial aerobic bacteria levels.
