Description
The AquaSkim Gravity pond skimmer is a high performance pond surface suction skimmer that requires connection to a pump / filter system that is fed under gravity, such as the Oase Proficlear Classic and Oase Proficlear Premium modular range of pond filters circulated using an Oase Aquamax Gravity Eco Pump. The AquaSkim Gravity can be connected to the filter or pump via DN100 pipe or Oase 100mmØ Pipes and Bends, which can be connected (push fit) directly to the outlet of the skimmer.
The AquaSkim Gravity features a 1.4 litre debris basket with a hook ring for access out in the pond. The floating tube sleeve will allow for a depth fluctuation of up to 120mm without affecting the skimmer performance.
This skimmer will cover a pond surface up to 40m² and can accept up to 16000 litres of water per hour, but requires a minimum flow rate of 8000 litres per hour to operate effectively, see the AquaSkim Performance Data Tab above for pump recommendations and minimum flow percentages.

The OASE AquaSkim pond skimmers powerfully and effectively remove debris that floats on the water surface from the garden pond. Dust, leaves and other pollutants result in pond water becoming saturated with excess external nutrients and water quality issues will occur as a result. A pond skimmer will stop surface debris from settling on the pond floor and decomposing, preventing siltation, murky water and excess algae producing nutrients.
