Pump Debris Shield

The OASE Pump Shield is designed to prevent debris larger than 1.5mm from blocking the pump or strainer casing in situations of heavily silted pond or lake water.   The porous bag is also ideal in ponds with small creatures such as frogspawn or newts.

The specially constructed draw-string bag can be used on a wide range of pumps to limit the size of debris passing through the pump.  This is particularly useful if a solids-handling pump is being used for a decorative stream or cascade rather than a filter system, or for reducing heavy silt on fountain pumps which will reduce any fine decorative fountain nozzles from blocking frequently.
